Custom Carbon Splitter Installation
For customers who want the splitter fitted properly from the start, we offer in house installation at our Melbourne workshop.
The car is first set up and levelled on our flat patch, then the splitter is positioned at the correct height and rake, taking the vehicle setup and any relevant class regulations into account.
From there we design and fabricate a custom tubular mounting system to suit the car and the available chassis mounting points. The mounts are cut, notched, test fitted and TIG welded, then powder coated once finished.
Once the mounts are made, we install structural hardpoints into the splitter to suit the final mounting locations and complete the final fitment and alignment.
Installation Only — Splitter Not Included
Installation Includes
Set up and level the car on our flat patch
Remove factory undertrays as required
Position the splitter at the correct height, rake and location
Design and fabricate custom tubular chassis mounts
Cut, notch, test fit and TIG weld mounts
Install structural hardpoints into the splitter
Powder coat fabricated mounts
Trim wheel liners and surrounding areas where required
Add heat shielding where required
Every car is different, so occasionally additional work may be required outside the normal installation. This can include things like temporary suspension adjustment to get it level or modifying the splitter itself
Any additional work will be discussed and charged separately where required.
Installation is carried out at our workshop in Laverton North, Melbourne.
Add Custom Carbon Fibre Airdam
Recommended for track use. The airdam closes the gap between the front bumper and splitter, stopping high pressure air from bleeding underneath. This helps maintain the pressure difference across the splitter, allowing it to produce more effective and consistent front downforce at speed.
Custom made to suit the car once the splitter is installed.
